The Krill Active was formed in 2014, as a means to increase the attraction of the humble boilie during Sticky’s annual jaunts to Lac de St Cassien. It was kept under wraps for many years, with batches being rolled in secret until it was perfected and released as a product in 2020. Following its incredible impact over standard baits, we are delighted to introduce the new Krill Active Shelf Life, which undergoes the same processes as the freezer version. Utilising special machinery, liquids are pumped into the bait, which is then combined with powders to create a durable, yet super soluble and attractive paste wrap. Once submerged in water, this outer coating breaks down slowly, releasing levels of attraction that far surpass that of a standard boilie. Thanks to our use of pure liquids, with high natural salt content, our Krill Active Shelf Life boilies are as close to fresh as we can possibly make them, with minimal preservatives, while still retaining their useability and ease of storage with no need to freeze. They are the biggest step forward in off-the-shelf bait for decades! Our Active baits have out fished standard boilies on every instance, due to their abundance of ammino acids which create a natural feeding trigger for carp!

Just like the freezer bait counterpart, Manilla Active Shelf Life is specifically designed to release its attractor package even in the coldest water temperatures, meaning the outer coating will break away incredibly quickly even in the winter months. This attribute is why it’s such a brilliant instant bait despite the limiting factors that cold water carp fishing entails. Sweet, nutty and incredibly digestible, Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same formula of milk proteins and refined nut proteins used in the freezer bait but with the addition of the smallest amount of preservative we can. Our Active Shelf Life range uses natural salts found in the hydrolysates used in the coating process to preserve them without reducing their effectiveness or their ‘active’ nature. With this in mind, Manilla Active Shelf Life has a slightly shorter use by date, compared to that of standard Manilla Shelf Life. The unique blend of real Bloodworm along with traditional fishmeal-based ingredients make our Bloodworm boilies one of the best and most attractive in our range. Although Bloodworm is a fishmeal-based bait, the combination of LT94, milk proteins, soluble fish proteins, crustacean extracts, blood plasma and Robin Red make it suitable for year-round use. Cap Oil is made up of a blend of different fish oils with the added addition of the potent capsicum extract, one of the spiciest liquids known to man! As a result of the mixture of refined cod liver oil and premium blended fish oils, Cap Oil is best used in the warmer months of the year. The deep red liquid will give any mix a kick, and as an added bonus your spot will produce a prominent oil slick when the fish are feeding, giving you an early indication that a bite could be imminent. Cap Oil is a great bait soak, and being a thin liquid, it soaks in right to the core of boilies, pellets and floaters producing a prolonged release of attraction.
