Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same process as all our Active boilies, which involves a two-stage coating made up of super soluble liquids along with fine, high-grade powders. The result is a paste layer, which surrounds each bait in a cocoon of attraction, once submerged, this breaks away, leaving a cloudy halo around each bait. Just like the freezer bait counterpart, Manilla Active Shelf Life is specifically designed to release its attractor package even in the coldest water temperatures, meaning the outer coating will break away incredibly quickly even in the winter months. This attribute is why it’s such a brilliant instant bait despite the limiting factors that cold water carp fishing entails. Sweet, nutty and incredibly digestible, Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same formula of milk proteins and refined nut proteins used in the freezer bait but with the addition of the smallest amount of preservative we can. Our Active Shelf Life range uses natural salts found in the hydrolysates used in the coating process to preserve them without reducing their effectiveness or their ‘active’ nature. With this in mind, Manilla Active Shelf Life has a slightly shorter use by date, compared to that of standard Manilla Shelf Life. Our Active boilies are the biggest step forward in off the shelf bait in decades and are sure to give you an edge.

The unique blend of real Bloodworm along with traditional fishmeal-based ingredients make our Bloodworm boilies one of the best and most attractive in our range. Although Bloodworm is a fishmeal-based bait, the combination of LT94, milk proteins, soluble fish proteins, crustacean extracts, blood plasma and Robin Red make it suitable for year-round use. The mix contains fast and slow release energy sources, as well as vitamins and minerals to make sure it is as good for the fish as possible. The finished bait is subtle in smell, yet highly attractive, and sports a deep, rich red colour. Our shelf life baits are all as close to the freezer bait versions as possible, with the only difference being the addition of a natural preservative. The Krill Active was formed in 2014, as a means to increase the attraction of the humble boilie during Sticky’s annual jaunts to Lac de St Cassien. It was kept under wraps for many years, with batches being rolled in secret until it was perfected and released as a product in 2020. Following its incredible impact over standard baits, we are delighted to introduce the new Krill Active Shelf Life, which undergoes the same processes as the freezer version. Utilising special machinery, liquids are pumped into the bait, which is then combined with powders to create a durable, yet super soluble and attractive paste wrap. Once submerged in water, this outer coating breaks down slowly, releasing levels of attraction that far surpass that of a standard boilie. Thanks to our use of pure liquids, with high natural salt content, our Krill Active Shelf Life boilies are as close to fresh as we can possibly make them, with minimal preservatives, while still retaining their useability and ease of storage with no need to freeze. They are the biggest step forward in off-the-shelf bait for decades! Our Active baits have out fished standard boilies on every instance, due to their abundance of ammino acids which create a natural feeding trigger for carp!

Made using a blend of liquid food products, paprika oleoresin, pure krill meal and a particularly potent fish protein extract, this thick, sticky liquid really clings to any bait. Any hookbaits that are left to soak in the Krill Glug are given a real boost of attraction, which releases constantly over a prolonged period of time. No synthetic chemicals or flavours are added, Krill Glug is 100% natural and cannot be overused. Add freely to bottom baits or hookbaits to add a layer of super soluble attraction for carp to home in on. Krill Glug is designed to be used with the items in The Krill range, however it can be added to any mix you wish for an added boost of attraction.
