Sardines are amongst the oiliest and most nutrient rich fish that swim in our seas and as such this Pure Sardine Hydrolysate is packed full of attraction. Naturally high in protein, Omega-3 fats and salt, this thick liquid is perfect for use in a variety of angling disciplines from carp fishing to predator angling. Packed with amino acids, with a distinctive fishy taste, this liquid can be used as a bait soak for anything from boilies, to pellets and particles. Due to its high viscosity, it also makes a great bait dip and will cling to anything that it touches. Despite its thickness, Sardine Hydrolysate is super soluble and can be used throughout the year.

Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same process as all our Active boilies, which involves a two-stage coating made up of super soluble liquids along with fine, high-grade powders. The result is a paste layer, which surrounds each bait in a cocoon of attraction, once submerged, this breaks away, leaving a cloudy halo around each bait. Just like the freezer bait counterpart, Manilla Active Shelf Life is specifically designed to release its attractor package even in the coldest water temperatures, meaning the outer coating will break away incredibly quickly even in the winter months. This attribute is why it’s such a brilliant instant bait despite the limiting factors that cold water carp fishing entails. Sweet, nutty and incredibly digestible, Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same formula of milk proteins and refined nut proteins used in the freezer bait but with the addition of the smallest amount of preservative we can. Our Active Shelf Life range uses natural salts found in the hydrolysates used in the coating process to preserve them without reducing their effectiveness or their ‘active’ nature. With this in mind, Manilla Active Shelf Life has a slightly shorter use by date, compared to that of standard Manilla Shelf Life. Our Active boilies are the biggest step forward in off the shelf bait in decades and are sure to give you an edge.

Sourced from the rich waters of the Pacific Ocean, this pure, ultra-soluble Tuna Hydrolysate has an amino profile equal to the legendary L-Zero 30. Like all of our pure hydrolysates, this is a totally raw, fresh product and being low in fat and high in soluble, digestible proteins, it’s the perfect food source for fish. High levels of palatable amino acids make it a phenomenal carp attractor too. There’s an almost endless list of applications for Pure Tuna, for all species. Designed to replicate Manilla Active Boilies, these Manilla Active Wafters are made using a perfectly balanced wafter mix, with a highly soluble, Active paste wrap. For these hookbaits to work perfectly, the coating itself contains an element of buoyancy to help maintain a perfect presentation throughout the breakdown process. As the super-soluble coating breaks down, it slowly settles into a halo of attraction on the lakebed surrounding the wafter at the inner core. Manilla Active hookbaits are specifically designed to work all year round and can release their coating with ease, even in the depths of winter. The Bait Spray range has been designed as an alternative attractor to supplement the liquids already in each range. Although we swear by our Liquid Food and Glug ranges, they aren’t ideal for soaking hookbaits for prolonged periods of time, as their dense nature can dramatically affect the buoyancy of a pop-up or wafter and render your rig mechanics useless. Bait Sprays are a much lighter alternative, that easily absorb into your chosen hookbait, yet still pack the same punch as their thicker counterparts – simply grab a tub of hookbaits and give them a couple of sprays to seriously boost their attraction!

Bait customisation used to be a huge part of everyone’s angling and our Hookbait Kits are designed to bring this forgotten art back to life and help you make your own customised hookbaits! Containing the same basemix and liquid package you will find in our range of bottom baits, with the added bonus of a natural toughening agent, this mix can be used to make anything from bottom baits to cork-ball pop-ups.
