Equine America Turmeric Xtra is a unique blend of high quality turmeric, typically providing at least 3% of active curcumin, with highly palatable, cooked, full fat linseed meal, so there is no need to add further linseed (flax) oil! Ground black pepper, providing the active compound piperine is also already included, at levels thought to enhance the absorption of the curcumin. Turmeric Xtra also contains the potent antioxidant Vitamin E.

Turmeric 12.5g
Vitamin E 114mg
Piperine (from black pepper) 40mg
Omega 3 Fatty Acids (from linseed) 6.8g

For a 500 kg horse – Introduce gradually: feed 25g (two scoops) per day for the first 7 days and 50g per day thereafter.

If desired, the servings may be increased up to a maximum of 100g per day.

For others according to body weight, more for larger breeds and less for smaller horses and ponies.
