Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same process as all our Active boilies, which involves a two-stage coating made up of super soluble liquids along with fine, high-grade powders. The result is a paste layer, which surrounds each bait in a cocoon of attraction, once submerged, this breaks away, leaving a cloudy halo around each bait. Just like the freezer bait counterpart, Manilla Active Shelf Life is specifically designed to release its attractor package even in the coldest water temperatures, meaning the outer coating will break away incredibly quickly even in the winter months. This attribute is why it’s such a brilliant instant bait despite the limiting factors that cold water carp fishing entails. Sweet, nutty and incredibly digestible, Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same formula of milk proteins and refined nut proteins used in the freezer bait but with the addition of the smallest amount of preservative we can. Our Active Shelf Life range uses natural salts found in the hydrolysates used in the coating process to preserve them without reducing their effectiveness or their ‘active’ nature. With this in mind, Manilla Active Shelf Life has a slightly shorter use by date, compared to that of standard Manilla Shelf Life. Our Active boilies are the biggest step forward in off the shelf bait in decades and are sure to give you an edge.

Thanks to a unique coating process, which involves two individual layers, the Krill Floaters pulse out attraction and draw carp into your swim. These are not simply re-bagged pellets! Using high-protein pellets as a base, we coat each individual morsel with a tantalising mix of soluble attractors, tiny food particles and fish oils. This two-staged coating process works as soon as you introduce your feed. The first coating releases potent fragments of bait carrying food signals across the surface layers, while the second works its way through the water column, hopefully drawing carp up to feed more confidently. As an added bonus, the fish oils included in the coating process mean you do not require any extra oil to cause a slick during windy conditions. Designed to replicate Manilla Active Boilies, these toughened bottom baits have been made using the same base-mix as the normal bottom baits, but with the inclusion of extra binders. This creates a much tougher alternative to using the freebies on the hair yet maintains that all important match the hatch appearance. Each hookbait is coated in a super soluble paste wrap, which is designed to match the freezer baits perfectly. Once submerged, the coating breaks down into a halo of attraction around the ultra-tough hookbait at the core, even in the coldest of water temperatures.

After several years, we have finally created the ultimate Active Pop-Up! Krill Active Pop-Ups feature a fluffy, light outer-coating, which has a neutral buoyancy. This means your pop-ups can be counterbalanced perfectly prior to casting out and you can rest assured your hookbait is sitting perfectly for days if necessary! Once submersed the outer coating breaks away and flutters slowly down to the lakebed, surrounding your hookbait in a halo of attraction, which perfectly matches our Krill Active boilies. These hookbaits are suitable for heavy duty presentations, such as Chod or Hinge rigs, but can also be used on more delicate rigs too, such as the Ronnie or Multi rig.
